Diros  caves  are  in  the  western  part  of  the  Laconian  peninsula.  People  first  found  the  caves  in  the  1900’s.

But  people  didn’t  know  how  incredible  it  looked  inside  until  1949.  In  1960  they  explored  and  charted  1,600  meters  but

the  whole  cave  is  14  kilometers!!  In   1970  that’s  when  they  started  scuba diving  and  exploring  under  water.  when  the

minerals  come  from  the celling  it’s called  stalactite  when it comes from  the bottom  it’s called  stalagmite.  me  and  my  mom

went  to  the  caves  when  we  were  driving  thru  the  polopenes.  I  bet  that  my  mom  liked  driving  thru  the  plopoenes

more  than she  liked  the caves. How  they  give  us  the  tour  is  we  get  on  the  little  row   boat  and  the  tour  guide  directs

the  boat  from  standing  in  the  back  with  his  little  paddle.  But  the  only  bad  thing  about  the  tour  is  that  the  tour

guide  spoke  about  zero  English.  It  was  actually  pretty  funny  on  the  boat  because  all  of  the  adults  had  to  duck  or

else  they  would  hit  there  heads.  So  once  the  first  part  of  the  tour  was  over  you  walked  for  the  second  part

and  thats  when  my  mom  took  all of  the  pictures  and  of  course  we   are  the  last ones  in  there  because  my  mom

takes  so  long  to  take  the  pictures.  All  of  the  minerals  looked  so  gross  but  in  the  same  way  cool  they  looked

like  gooey  needles  it  was  really  cool.  All  of  the  stalactites  and  stalagmites  are  all  shapes  and sizes  some  are  sharp

and  fat  and  some  are  skinny  and  dull.  Some  of  them  were  huge  and  they  looked  like  giant  Cheetos  you know

fat  and  orange.  But  some  were  like white  and  they  had  really  pretty  crystals those  ones  were  my  favorite.

Like  I  said  the  tour  guide  only  spoke  Greek  so  me  and  my  mom  just  did  what  we  wanted  she  took  pictures  and  I  let

hand  just  run  thru  the  water.  What  me  and  my  mom  did  was a  once  in  a  life  time  opportunity  and  I  am  so  grateful

for that….

Face book  is  the  greatest  website  in the entire  world.  kids,  adults,  teenagers  even  dogs  can  have  a   face book.

Trust  me  on  this  one  my  mom  made  a  face book  for  our  dog suki.  Face book  is  especially  good  for  me

because well  I  live  out  in  Greece  and  I have  to talk  to  my  friends and family some  how and  face book  is

a  great  way  to  do  it.  You  can  do  so  much  on  face book  you  can write  on somebody’s  wall you  can  comment

on  pictures and even  play  games.  I suggest  if  you  don’t  have  a  face book  you  should  get  one  now!!!

Here  are  just  some  of  my  favorite  things  to  do  living  in  Athens.

1  Going  Santorini.

2 Going  to  Syntagma.

3  Swimming  in  the  ocean.

4  Hanging  out  with  my  mom.

5  Meeting  new  people.

6  Going  to  the  farmers  market.

7  Having  coffee  with  my  mom.

8  Walking  to  grocery  store.

9  Watching  Dexter.

10  Skyping  Andrea  and  I  guess  family.

OMG this is the best food ever made… The taste makes you want to just rub it on you’re face!  Its called suvlaki and its just basically meat on a stick.  It is so good!  I really didn’t start liking it until I got to Greece, and its soooo good, that I actually don’t know why I didn’t like it before. I actually started liking a lot more foods since I got here.

I can’t lie Greece is the coolest place ever!  If any of you guys wan’t to travel in Europe you definitely need to come to Greece.  My mom and I tend to go out a lot because the food is so good, but just being in Greece is so cool. I love it so much here and I never ever want to leave…wait…I take that back, I want to leave for France, then I want to go to Italy, then I want to come back to live in Greece.

My mom really really dosen’t like Athens because it is so dang messy and loud and stuff. But that is what I like about Athens.

Sorry it took me so long to write another post… So everybody in Greece has these things called worry beads/komboloi they are the best thing ever. They are meant to relax you and to just past time. Me and my mom were with a friend and i saw him playing with the worry beads so I said can I play with them real quick. So he handed them to me and i started playing with them and i’m like OMG I so need to get a pair of

these so I asked my mom for MY money and so I wen’t out and bought my own pair…when I first got them I wasn’t very good but I just kept practicing and practicing and then I found out the trick.. if you’r hanging out with a friend and your talking then you should lay them on your hand and just stroke them but if your by yourself you take about three beads on each side and put the worry beads between your index finger and your ring finger and flip them around… Anyway I decided that i’m going to start collecting them cause they are the coolest thing ever… p.s. don’t worry next time I won’t take so long to make another blog post

So if you dont  know  what this blog post is about its about my AWSOME MOMMY!!! yesterday me and my mom went and took the subway to the acropolis now this was my first time ever ridding the subway and it was the coolest thing ever!!! So we get there and we literally walk ten feet and i see this huge old building that was so high up it was called the Parthenon. So I yelled out to my mom momma look!!! and she knew exactly what I was talking about. But the meaning of going there wasn’t to go do every thing like going all the way up to the acropolis we just wanted to look what it was about. Were waiting to do all of that stuff when my moms friend gets here  tomorrow… Anyway i said that i have the best mom ever because she and I are in Europe together she could ve gone to Europe without me but she was cool enough to take me with. so yesterday when we got there we were so excited we loved just looking at all of the neat stuff and there were people on the sidewalk playing the guitar painting pictures there were mimes and also people playing the saxophone… AS you can see me and my AWSOME MOMMY!!! had the best day ever.

So yesterday at about noon me my mom,geroge,jijill went fishing the two guys did not speak any english at all so it was kinda hard to talk to them.. so after an hour or so I caught my first fish. So after that I cast out again and nothing so I’m waiting and waiting and wright when I get a fish my mom says lets go jake now. It sounded like she was mad or upset. So were walking to get a cab and she tells me that jijill was trying to make out with her and I say what are you kidding me. And she no said that she had to push him away three times. So then we are waling to get a cab and he starts following us so we just keep walking trying to ignore him and we go a different direction and then he calls her cell phone. And all this guy can say in English is I lu you he cant say love only lu. So we get home and he knocks on are door so we just ignore it. And five minutes later he does it again so we just keep ignoring him. So I had a good time fishing but i don’t think my mom did… Sorry Momma… p.s. we call him CRG CREEPY ROMANIAN GUY hahahah

Ok so it all started like this… My mom and I were at her friend Brian’s house and he has a Harley so he of course has all this gear. So I put it on to play guitar as a joke and my mom is recording and I wasn’t paying attention and so I kept playing as a joke. But then she tells me I’m going to put this on facebook and so I said no because it is a really embarrassing video but she doesn’t listen to me and puts it on anyways. So after a while I wasn’t is mad so a couple days later we go to some friends house and she just starts showing everybody. Moms can sure be annoying but my mom is the BEST mom YOU can EVER have….:)
